August 18th saw another solid top 10 for Stephen as he drove the Jakes Automotive, Wire to Wire Bar and Grille Akey Construction, Victory Lane Karts #9 super to a great 6th place finish. Joe Gosek won the 45 lap feature with Michael Barnes and Tim Snyder also getting podium finishes.

In an over all forgettable outing for the #9 team, Stephen was forced into only his 3rd DNF of the season Saturday. A problem with the rear wing resulting from a wreck the week before forced him to pull off the track on lap 17.
